Boy Scout Helps Summerseat Animals, Thank you Ethan Matteson and Troop 347!

It is with gratitude and appreciation that we thank Ethan Matteson for providing better housing for our Summerseat animals.  Ethan's Eagle Project served to repair the back of the pigs' barn, enlarge their yard, repair the gates enclosing the classroom in the barn, and build benches for the classroom at Summerseat.

Thanks to Deb Lewis, Dick Wildes, and the Board at Summerseat Farm for their guidance and support on this wonderful Community Project; Jay and 84 Lumber, Zimmerman Saw Mill and Mechanicsville Building Supply for their donations of lumber and materials to complete the project; and the Scouts and Leaders of Troop 347 for their service.

Ethan was recognized on Saturday June 30th at Summerseat Farm by Boy Scout Troop 347 to receive the Eagle Scout Court of Honor.
