Race registration is open!
Covid-19 has been hard on a lot of people and Summerseat Farm has not been excluded from this. Summerseat Farm DEPENDS on donations and fundraisers to continue to provide food, housing, and care for all of our animals, along with maintenance of the Manor House and grounds. Due to the pandemic, we have not been able to host a fundraiser for over a year! During this year, we have continued to feed all of the animals, care for all of the animals’ medical needs, and repair and maintain the Manor House, grounds, equipment, fences, and barns. The Farm is also in need of a tractor. We have been blessed with volunteer’s that have allowed us to borrow their tractors in the past but we are now needing to purchase one of our own.
How can you help and have fun at the same time? Join us in this virtual race! Register today through the 3rd, invite your friends to sign up with you and then “race” them over the next 14 days. You’ll be supporting Summerseat Farm and maintaining your own fitness. Win, win!
The other way you can support Summerseat during this race, is by asking family and friends to sponsor you. After registering you will be set up with your own fundraising page that you can share to your Facebook page or email to individuals.
Our virtual race will end on the 17th and we hope you will be able to join us at the farm that day. Our walking trail will be open from 10AM-2PM for those that would like to finish their race on the farm. The trail starts off by the barn area, goes thru the woods, and ends by the sheep pasture.
